After much prayerful consideration, and in light of the tendency of our society toward litigation, increasingly punitive settlements, and potential actions which might be taken against religious organizations that are following the Holy Scriptures rather than following Politically Correct paths; the Elders have decided to incorporate the Maple Hill congregation as a Tennessee Non-Profit Corporation. This will limit any potential financial liability and provide some protection against possibly frivolous legal actions which might be filled; or against legal actions motivated by a special interest agenda, hostile to religious organizations which accept the Bible literally as the only rule of faith and practice.
