Young At Heart

Since it was so well-received and appreciated, we would like to, again this year, brighten the day of our shut-ins and homebound members by delivering a fruit basket to them.  On Saturday, February, 18th at 9:30 a.m., we will be preparing between 25-30 baskets and plan to deliver them that same day.  We are asking everyone to sign up to bring a good amount of fruit to fill the baskets and help with the assembly.  We will then travel by bus to Portland and eat lunch at 5 Chefs.  Be sure to sign the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board, indicating what you are willing to bring and if you are planning on going to lunch, no later than Wednesday, February 15^th.   You will be greatly blessed!

Help Wanted

The Benevolence committee needs men willing to help one Monday evening per month.  We meet most Mondays at 7PM to serve those in need from our community.

A Child Is Born Day

On Sunday, February 5, we will be celebrating our seventh annual “A Child Is Born Day”.  This is a special day where we recognize all babies of our members that have been born in the last year.

WINGS

You are invited to attend the Ladies’ monthly Bible class as we study “Prescriptions for a Woman’s Soul” from 2 Peter 1:5-7. This class is for ladies of all ages as we meet together in each others homes, study and enjoy a meal together.  We meet the first Tuesday of every month. Please make plans to spend this time with your sisters in Christ.
