11. Purpose/Other Provisions: Maple Hill Church of Christ operates for church-related and religious purposes. No part of the net earnings shall enure to the benefit of any private individual whomsoever, no part of its activities shall be carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation and it shall not participate in or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. The corporation shall be operated exclusively for exempt purposes within Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and any succeeding Federal Statutes prescribing the grounds for exemption from federal taxation.
