Open Hands - “What Talent Can Show” (1 Peter 4:8-11)
So much time, energy, and money is spent trying to impress others. From Instagram posts to new cars to the latest designer jeans, we often seek the admiration and approval of those around us.
This desire isn’t limited to everyday life. It can sneak into the church as well. Sometimes, the talents God has given us become tools for self-promotion.
This Neighbor’s Day, we’ll explore how God has given each of us unique talents—gifts that deserve admiration. However, these gifts aren’t meant to draw attention to ourselves; they are meant to serve others and point them to Jesus.

Sunday Schedule (November 2, 2025)
- 9 AM - Worship. Sermon: "What Talent Can Show" (1 Peter 4:8-11)
- 10:30 AM - Bible Classes for All Ages
- 11:15 AM - Catered Meal
- There will be no afternoon/evening services due to Neighbor Day. We encourage members to spend more time with their guests. There also might be some leftover meals to take to our shut-ins.
