"Tested Identity” (Luke 4:1-13)

Is anyone ever truly ready for parenthood?

You can prepare the house, set up the nursery, and baby proof everything in sight. But the hardest part to prepare for is the ups and downs that come with being a parent.

There is no instruction manual for raising a child. But there is something every parent can do. Decide what kind of parent they want to be. Know their identity. And when you know your identity, it shapes how you face the daily challenges of being a mom or dad.

Identity was also central to Jesus as He prepared for His ministry. In Luke 4, His identity is tested in the wilderness. Yet He stands firm every time. Why? Because He knows who He is. Even in the face of pressure and temptation, His identity remains unshaken.

Join us this Sunday morning at Maple Hill as we explore what it means to know our identity as followers of Jesus and how to remain grounded in that identity each day.

• 10:30 AM - Bible Class for All Ages
• House Churches will meet at various times and locations Sunday afternoon/evening. There will also be a traditional Sunday night service at 5 PM at the church building.
