This Week’s Lesson
“Jesus Got Down Into the Water with Us” (Luke 3:21-38)
Have you ever felt distant from God? Like He didn’t understand what you’re facing, or worse, like He didn’t even care?
Those moments are real, and they can be incredibly hard. But God has given us a sure and undeniable sign that He knows and cares: Jesus stepped out of eternity and took on flesh. That means God is not distant or detached. Instead, He has entered into our world and our experience.
This Sunday morning at Maple Hill, we’ll explore how Jesus fully identifies with us as human beings. And in that, we find real hope—hope that He understands, that He cares, and that He shows us how to face whatever comes our way.
